Fischhaus Am Fährehafen in Konstanz

For us the best fish shop in the entire Lake Constance region. No matter if fish rolls, fish for home or dishes that are offered there in the restaurant (unfortunately only to take away at the moment - but in spring / summer hopefully there again with a view of the lake) are simply great! Great price-performance ratio and, above all, always very good quality. The owners (family?) Are also very friendly and kids are very welcome too! We would love to come back!

This is THE place in Konstanz to have a fish sandwich!!! 🐟>🥪=😃 Not only is each and every one of them prepared freshly to order, they really take pride in the quality of their fish. Just wonderful, worth the (beautiful) loooong walk there from the city center, check it out!

In general, I really like to eat fish, which has to be said first. We got a roll with fish here and then sat on a bench outside and dammed Lake Constance. The roll was a dream together with the fish, the tartar sauce, the fresh onions and the spices. It could also be that I liked it so much because it was right at the harbor on Lake Constance and that makes it so idyllic. However, I can say that I liked it so much that we went back into the shop afterwards and took one each with us.

We were there around September 2020 and wanted to eat. Outside there were Reserved signs on all tables. We went into the shop to first ask whether all the tables were really reserved. An employee in the shop drove to us straight away: First fill in the data ”. In a very unfriendly way. We then left, disappointed and horrified, because we actually knew this place from earlier times with very friendly service. When we came back the clerk, a younger man, was still very rude. We asked the waitress outside if there would be a free table, so he stopped and said: THAT should first fill in his data. We don't go there anymore, not guest friendly at all! No more !

Just a few words: 1. Far too expensive! 2.Eat average! 3. Staff, especially the boss, aggressively rude, downright insulting! Conclusion: never again!

Staff very unfriendly. Just let us stand according to the personal data. We were not assigned a seat. When we wanted to order food, we were referred to the neighboring restaurant. No guest there again

Food is to be recommended without reservation. Friendliness leaves something to be desired. Not at the counter, the waiters are well. Mouth and nose protection is disregarded.

Unmotivated service staff, carelessly arranged and unfortunately completely overcooked fish. The bridal potatoes and the potato salad were a joke too. There is also ready-made sauce. A few regulars were clearly preferred. We would be very disappointed, it used to be really good here.

Take away food? Better not. The fish was we chewing gum. The best thing was the fried fish in the bun.

The fish was fresh and delicious. The young man who greets the guests could, however, be a little friendlier and more motivated and be more consistent in using the mask. Outside you can sit under umbrellas with a view of the lake and enjoy the delicious fish.

Lovely place, fish is unbelievably fresh, nice and helpful staff, helpful for choosing fish and wine. It deserves more than 4 stars if it were more a gourmet restaurant than a place to eat very good fish.

Shop is located directly on the water - beautiful view. Portions well stocked and delicious. I ate the fish and the fish split. Various side dishes can be added. Recommended.

Very nice and calming location near the ferry passing. Meals are prepared quick, on the spot, with fresh fish you pick yourself. Excellent service.
